Chimneys

Before ordering a stainless steel chimney, it is important to understand the diameter of the chimney on your heating system. We offer chimneys with a diameter of 115, 150 or 200 mm, but with the help of adapters, the transitions can also be connected to other diameters.

The next step is to deal with the design of the chimney. The chimney can pass through the ceiling and all floors trampling on the stove. If for some reason this is not possible, it is taken out through the wall using an additional tee and a condensate drain.

Be sure to know that for a pitched roof, the minimum height of the chimney above the highest roof surface is at least 50 cm, if the distance from the chimney to the ridge is not more than 1.5 m. If the chimney is located at a distance of 1.5-3 m from the roof ridge, it should not be below the ridge. When removing the chimney from the ridge by more than 3 m, its upper end must be not lower than a straight line drawn from the ridge at an angle of 10 ° to the horizon.

We use this materials:

The material 1.4016 / AISI 430 is a magnetisable ferritic stainless steel that is suitable for forging and cold forming. Due to its high chromium content of 16-18 %, this stainless steel grade is more corrosion resistant (especially against stress corrosion cracking) than a comparable material with a lower chromium content. Please note that the material 1.4016 / AISI 430 can only be used for welding to a limited extent. The processing possibilities include cold upsetting and bending.

AISI 304 / EN 1.4301 is an austenitic stainless steel with high corrosion resistance. This stainless steel grade has a very low magnetizability and is suitable for welding, forging and cold forming. Please note that the material has no resistance to intergranular corrosion when welded.
