Insulated chimney D115/195mm, 1m, set

€182.90

Stainless steel chimneys with vermiculite insulation are a high-tech solution for creating a safe and durable ventilation and smoke exhaust system for heating appliances and boilers. These chimneys are designed to meet modern requirements for heat resistance, safety and durability, making them ideal for use in any conditions.

Main characteristics:

  • The inner tube is made of 0.8 mm thick 304 stainless steel, which guarantees excellent corrosion resistance and high heat resistance. This grade of steel is ideal for working with aggressive gases formed during combustion.
  • The outer pipe is made of 430 grade stainless steel with a thickness of 0.5 mm, which gives the structure strength and wear resistance to external influences.
  • Vermiculite insulation is a natural material that effectively protects the structure from overheating and reduces heat loss. Vermiculite can withstand temperatures up to 1300 degrees, providing reliable thermal insulation.

Advantages compared to stone wool:

  1. Heat Resistance : Vermiculite can withstand temperatures up to 1300 degrees, which is significantly higher than rock wool, making it ideal for chimneys operating in extreme conditions.

  2. Environmentally friendly and safe : Vermiculite is a natural mineral that does not emit harmful substances and does not burn. Stone wool, in turn, can emit harmful substances when overheated, which can be dangerous to health.

  3. Durability and stability : Vermiculite, unlike stone wool, does not lose its thermal insulation properties over time, even when exposed to moisture. Stone wool can weaken its thermal insulation over time, especially when wet.

  4. Density : Although vermiculite is not lighter than rock wool, it is significantly denser, which contributes to better thermal insulation and durability. The density of the material guarantees its stable characteristics and resistance to external influences.

Advantages over other manufacturers:

Many manufacturers use thinner materials for the outer and inner chimney pipe, which can reduce the strength and heat resistance of the entire structure. We use 0.8 mm steel for the inner pipe and 0.5 mm for the outer pipe, which provides additional strength and durability.

In addition, the use of 304 stainless steel for the inner pipe minimizes the risk of corrosion and increases the resistance of the chimney to aggressive operating conditions.
